SSC CGL Tier I Exam Pattern:
The first level of the SSC CGL selection process is known as the Tier 1 exam. SSC CGL Tier II Exam Pattern:
Candidates who qualify for the first level are eligible for the second level of the exam. The pattern of this section has been changed in 2022 and candidates are tested on different subjects. The common topics in all the subjects are the same as in the first class. Apart from them, candidates who have applied for AAO and JSO/SI and cleared the cutoff will appear for some additional subjects.
Paper I is a compulsory paper and consists of 130 questions (60 in section I and 70 in section II) of 390 marks. Each correct answer adds 3 marks and each wrong answer deducts 1 mark from the score.
Section III of the first paper has 2 modules. Module I has 20 questions of computer knowledge and Module II is a data entry skill test. Both these modules are of qualifying nature and 15 minutes are allotted to each.
Paper II and III have 100 questions and each is worth 200 marks. The marking scheme in this section is same as Tier 1 i.e. (+2) for correct answers and (-0.5) for wrong answers.
